STONEHENGE: COME ESSERE PECORE IN VIAGGIO
E’ in Inghilterra, e visto che sono quì ho pensato di visitarlo, il sito è datato: ricostruito più volte ma quello che interessa è che le pietre si trovano lì da un bel po’ di anni; ci sono varie leggende su di esso (osservatorio astronomico, monumento di Re Artù, casa coloniale abusiva… insomma c’è un alone di mistero che avvolge questo posto.
Chiaramente essendo una cittadina sperduta, una volta arrivati con il treno a Salinsbury, non è possibile prendere un bus qualunque che porti laggiù, ma è necessario prendere il bus a due piani del tour guidato.
Parte l’autobus e la voce registrata dell’autista echeggia nell’aria: “If you look at your right you can see… ” e cinquanta coglioni girano la testa a destra, “when the bus will turn at the corner, turn your head to the left… ” di nuovo le pecore girano la testa, questa volta a sinistra.
Il pastore in questo caso è l’audio guida: “….ora spostatevi al punto 1 e premete il tasto 1, poi spingete il pulsante verde” e quello è il momento più bello, perché la massa si sposta all’unisono con questi strani aggeggi attaccati all’orecchio, contenti di poter fotografare queste pietre (con davanti a loro la testa di un cinese, oppure di un italiano, la mia insomma).
Peccato quindi solo per la gente, perché il sito sarebbe carino… prima di tornare alla città il bus a due piani forniva l’opportunità, per chi lo voleva, di fermarsi ad un altro sito storico Old Sarum, in rovina ma in pratica i resti di un castello medievali (di quelli con il fossato intorno e il ponte levatoio).
Per tornare indietro sul bus ho avuto una conversazione con un signore inglese sul tempo metereologico (Roberta mi aveva avvisato che in Inghilterra spesso le persone che non sanno cosa dire la buttano sul tempo) e così c’è stata questa discussione:
Bold English man: – Warm, isn’t it? –
Io: – Si, veramente caldo, è quasi da maglietta a maniche corte… –
Bold English man: – Ah Ah Ah… and it’s almost winter –
Io: – Per quanto mi riguarda sono stato fortunato, sono qui da quasi due settimane e ha piovuto poco, poi negli ultimi giorni è stato bellissimo… –
Bold English man: – Not too bad –
Poi minuto di silenzio…
Bold English man: – Ma, tu da dove vieni? –
Io: – Io sono italiano, sono venuto quì perché… –
Bold English man: – Scusa, questa è la mia fermata, ciao! –
ciao bello!hai avuto qualche bella sensazione mentre eri li? tipo qualche energia cosmica particolare?
